Fn F5 opens location profiles and when I click on Find Wireless Networks the window closes and the network in this location is not found (although there is no indication of any attempt to find it).
Open Access Connections also closes the window without opening anything.
Clicking on the System Tray Icon opens Wireless Connection Status where I see "Radio On, not associated".
Is it as simple as creating a new wireless location profile and if so, how does one go about it? (never used the IBM app previously)
The network is available and can be seen on another (Dell) notebook using Windows to configure the wireless (sorry for the 4 letter word).
The X40 is not my machine so I am hesitant to uninstall the IBM Wireless Application. If I do uninstall and reinstall the app will I loose all of the previous wireless networks that it has stored?
Any help is greatfully appreciated.
add / find wireless network on X40
