I am looking at an X40 Dothan package which is priced to include a 3 yr depot warranty. Options I am considering for upgraidng the warranty include: 1) adding a 4th year to the Depot warranty ($110)--this may make sense since my current noteook is 5 years old; 2) making the 3 yr warranty onsite next day versus depot ($119); 3) going to 4 yrs and next day onsite ($299).
Is the turnaround time with onsite repair significantly shorter than overnighting to a depot?
What warranty coverage would any of you recommend?
Warranty advice needed: 3 vs 4 years; onsite vs depot
