X40 and SSD

Hi,

Has anybody here ever used solid state drive in their X40/41? 8)

If so, would you share your experience... thanks!
T42, 1.8GHz Dothan, DDR 1.5GB, 7K100 80GB, IBM 802.11abg
T40 (intermittent shutdown - saved by heat gun!!) 1.6GHz Dothan, DDR 768MB, 40GB, Intel 2200bg

Yea, I know, only 16GB available with IDE pin, and the price is outrageus :( So I guess nobody use it then...
