Excellent Warranty Service

I just want to share the phenomenal service I received from IBM!

My hard drive for my X40 failed yesterday morning, and with a 5 minute phone call, another spankin' new hard drive AND recovery discs arrived at my door from DHL this afternoon. This is my first time I've had to use my warranty service, and I must say, WOW! This is by far the most quick and painless service I've ever seen by any computer manufacturer in my entire life. :D

IBM is reasonably well-known for this kind of service. I had a drive go in a client's Dell server. Dell told me 10 business days for a new drive. I gave the part numbers to my IBM dealer in Toronto and had the server drive next morning. Needless to say, my client has never questioned my choice of IBM for them, or my choice of dealer for them. The service they get is much too important.
