how to change alt key to windows key?

hey guys, i remember reading somewhere that you can use the right side alt key as a windows start menu key. what do i need to do? i searched quicky on the site, on the web, and using my access IBM key with no luck.

You need the Lenovo Keyboard Customizer Utility. Be sure to download the correct version for your model ThinkPad.

If you can't find the correct version on the lenovo site, you can use Software Installer to get it as well.

You don't need any special software to do it, it's just a simple registry edit (assuming you're on Windows).

But replace the scancode with the following:
