I am not sure which anti virus program is best for x40 considering its low performace comparing with desktop or T serie notebook. My IT admin suggest that Symantec Corporate 9 AV is best for x40 since it takes less resource to run. But when I read Rescue and Recover user guide, it states in the guide that R&R requires NAV 2004 or later.
So which one should I use then?
Is NAV 2005 or Symantec Corporate 9 AV best for x40?
I don't use R&R, but Symantec Client Security 2 Corporate is hands-down vastly better than any Norton consumer product. It is strong, it is transparent in normal operation, it can be made to update to a schedule, it updates silently even when using other applications, and it doesn't use any significant resource. My CPU sits at zero (or nearly so) 99 percent of the time. ... JDHurst
