What Battery Threshold should I use for my batteries?

#1 Post by red bioroid » Sat Sep 08, 2007 6:30 pm

I just got my extended battery for my X40.

I read that I can increase the lifespan of my extended battery threshold if I change the threshold %.

"Start Charging when battery goes below a certain % "

Have anyone use this feature with success?

My regular battery already has 92 cycle counts (over 20 months)and new extended battery has just 1 count. I plan on using my extented battery , to the point of it fully discharge each time, about 6-10 times per month.
Feb 2008=Thinkpad X61s; 2x faster than X40 but not as asthetic.
Dec 2005=Thinkpad X40; perfect, but bigger than 240x.
Jan 2005=Thinkpad 240x; used; fast but dead pixels doomed it.
2003=Thinkpad 240; used,
1998=new Toshiba Tecra 740CDT. Pricey, heavy & last 5 year.
