Fresh install - proper procedure?

#1 Post by paasan » Fri Oct 12, 2007 8:50 am

I have a two year old X41 that I'm eager to format and give a fresh install of XP and all ThinkPad software.

However - what is the recommended procedure for this - given that my laptop doesn't have any external disk or cd-rom?

I'm sure the question has been answered previously. Feel free to direct me in the correct direction, but I was unable to find any FAQ or likewise giving me an answer :-)

I'm looking forward to any answer.

Regards & HAGWE.

At bootup during the IBM splash screen press the blue button or F11. That will get you into Rescue and Recovery where you can restore the computer to factory condition.
