changes resolution when lid closes

changes resolution when lid closes

for some reason my computer changes the resolution when i closes the lid. The powermanger is set to do nothing when lid closes.
It is Windows XP Tablet Edition on a X41t. when i open the lid, it changes it back to what it was before.
Can i change it to not turn down the resolution?
IBM X41 Tablet.

Update your BIOS to the latest version:
(Fix) When the LCD is closed and opened, the screen resolution may be changed.
BIOS Update (Non-Diskette) - ThinkPad X41 Tablet.

Reinstall the GPU drivers provided by lenovo after the above update:
