Linksys Speedboost Card in X40?

I am considering the purchase of a Linksys WPC54GS notebook card for my X40 so I can make maximum use of my speedboost-enabled Linksys router. Has anyone successfully tested this card on an X40? Any suggestions? And will it be necessary to remove my internal IBM 802.11b minicard to make it work?
