Battery light on X30 laptop keeps blinking orange

Need help on Battery issue. The X30 laptop battery light on the laptop keeps flashing orange while its plugged into the AC adapter.
I tried removing the battery and reinserting it and I tried plugging it into the docking station same result. I only had this battery for less then a year.

What does the Power Manager say about the battery in "Battery Information" tab (provided it's present under your Operating System)?

Batteries from lenovo are covered under 1 year limited warranty, you can ask for a replacement from the support also.

For what it is worth, I had the same symptom on one of my thinkpads all I did to fix it was to discharge the battery until 4% and recharging it back solved the issue.
