My beloved clicking X23

My little machine has had a clicking processor fan since I bought it. It doesn't click all the time just when it accelerates. So I ordered a new (used) one. But wouldn't you know, this new one does exactly the same. So am I missing something obvious here? Or do I just have bad luck and both of my fans have exactly the same problem?

EDIT: And it doesn't seem to make that sound when it's starting up, just when it changes speeds.

well now, is it the fan or the Hard disk?

My x20 does this from time to time and it's a little disturbing. I sometimes wonder if it's hurting itself. Still, it just Keeps on keeping on.

I was wondering the same but it seems to only make that sound when the fan accelerates. Or maybe the fan accelerates BECAUSE the hard disk is making that noise?
