Hi all,
I have:
Thinkpad x20 (600mhz, 320mb), WINXP Pro SP2, ACPI
In the "System Devices" under "Device Manager", the followiing devices are in the low power state (D3) even though thy say thew also support full power (D0)
-Direct Memory Access Controller
-Numeric Data Processor
-System Board
I have tried every conceivable power setting/scheme adjustment, including setting the global power profile to full power in the registry - no luck.
Although I never looked at these settings before, When I was running SP!, I could run the voice app. Skype with the full quality codec. Since SP2, it will not use the (processor intensive) high end codec. The only thing that changed was SP2. I would like to solve this without reinstalling XP minus SP2.
Any ideas??
Thanks!
Todd
