XP Service Pack 3 RC on X40

I have been trying to install the latest SP3 release onto my X40 with no luck. The update always freezes the machine before completing. Has anyone else done this? Anything special I need to know? TIA

I just installed WinXP SP3 on my eMachines desktop (1.1GHz PIII/512MB RAM) last week without any problem. Did you download it directly from Microsoft? I got my copy here.
