Can an ultrabase dock for an X61 fit an X41 tablet?

You need the X6* Tablet Ultrabase

sorry if this is redundant but it's confirmed the X6 Tablet UltraBase fits the x41 tablet?

What? No, it definitely does not fit. I think the X4 ultrabase fits on the x41 tablet but I'm not sure. It fits the X40, I know for sure. There is someone in the Marketplace section who has several X4's for sale quite cheap if you want one.

Well color me confused. The x4 ultrabase doesn't fit the tablet, while the x4 dock fits.

That question and reply was what I was trying to figure out. It was worded like the x6 ultrabase for the x61 tablet would fit an x41 tablet.

It won't.

The confusion is whether an X41 Tablet will fit an X4 Ultrabase. I know an X6 Tablet will not fit the X6 Ultrabase because it's a different chassis; that is, the X61 and X61 Tablet have different docking connector locations. That's why phr says he's not sure if the X41 Tablet will fit into the X4 Ultrabase: it might be a similar situation. An X41 Tablet will definitely not fit an X6 dock.
