microSD card from phone won't detect in X40 SD slot

#1 Post by red bioroid » Wed Feb 13, 2008 2:50 am

I pulled a 6GB microsd card out of my Blackberry phone and put it into the blank compatible SD card into my X40 socket. The laptop won't even read this card(i.e. see the D drive). However, I was able to put a separate 2GB microsd card from my X40 into my BB and the BB reads it without a problem.

What is the problem? Is it because the microsd card from my BB was formatted in BB (it's file structure too different) so that's why my x40 laptop can't read it?

What is the fix here? I want to be able to read my microsd card files in both my BB and X40.

No, I haven't look into this case#. I'll do that later tonight, hopefully it will solve the problem.
