I'd like to expand my x40 hard drive which is very slow as all of you probably know (4,200 rpm and so)
is it possible to replace any x4x hard disk drive with these new 1.8" ? I mean these ones

thanks in advance,
kind regards
toshiba introduces new 1.8" drives, would be compatible
1.8" HDD
It would be nice if you could, but you can't. The X40 uses PATA (IDE) drives and the Toshiba are SATA. If they should release a version with the PATA interface, you'd be in business!
