Tablet mode viewing

#1 Post by hbern » Wed Mar 05, 2008 9:38 pm

I have 2 offices and use 2 X4 docking stations, one in each office. I used 2 LCD 17'' hooked to the docking stations. My problem is that I would like to have my X41 Tablet PC seating on my desk in tablet mode for note taking, while having the external monitor displays in regular landscape viewing. Is it possible to have simultaneously both viewing formats (lcd notebook portrait display and landscape display on the external monitor?

Can't see why not. As long as the displays are separate and don't mirror each other, rotating one should not affect the other.

Well you have everything you need to try it. I just did and it works flawlessly. You have to check the Extend desktop to this monitor in Display Settings, then you can change the resolution as you like and rotate event/rotate button/Ctrl-Alt-Arrow will change active (cursor containing) monitor orientation.

Good luck.
