X41T Memory

#1 Post by jroyston » Sun Apr 13, 2008 3:39 am

I have seen that it is possiable to install a 2GB memory chip into your X41T. I understand the 2GB limit of 915 but I am tring to make sure the memory I plan to buy will work. I found a FRU 73P3846 http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.ws ... MIGR-65592 memory chip it looks like what I need can anyone confirm that this works in a X41T.

Thanks

Hi
I just picked up a X41T and wanted to add more memory. Are you seeing only 2gb in there? I currently have 1gb total (2x512mb sticks) and am wondering if I bought another 2gb stick to replace one of the 512mb ones, will my laptop see 2.5 gb or just 2gb.

Thanks in advance.
