WTB: X32 Recovery CD

#1 Post by afarouk » Sat Jun 21, 2008 12:26 am

I need x32 recovery CDs (should have win-xp-pro sp2). My machine is still under warranty, but talking to IBM is a pain.

Thanks

My T41 would'nt run R&R when I first got it. I called IBM and they told me sometimes the HPA will not be installed correctly. They took my address and sent the disks for free. You should keep calling and complaining that the HPA is not working and they might do the same. Don't give up since it's still under warranty.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Welcome to the forum!

If your machine is under warranty, IBM must provide the restore disks for you, no pain involved. Cost is $45+S&H+tax.

Good luck.
