I guess you have to be lucky with timing, but $65 isn't bad. Still expensive for what it is, but it's 'rare' outdated technology.

These are the only people who have these drives AFAIK, and if you go back and do the search, you'll see that many were sold in the $150 range...this one was a steal...

A very reliable seller, BTW. Good people with real stuff.

I feel bad for these guys. Same seller, same product, but they bid at the wrong time.

Still, I've also been lucky enough never to have any hard drive fail on me, ever. I suppose that may make me cocky and prone to taking risks, but I wouldn't hold off on a well-priced X40 or X41 just for the hard drive, if I needed an ultraportable and the right one came along.
