Has anyone tried the X31 battery from "Total Micro" from Overstock.com:

I really need a battery for my X31. I can't trust batteryspace (they STILL have my battery and the BBB is doing nothing!) and I'm not going to buy some $30 ebay battery.

Re: "Total Micro" X31 Battery
The battery does not look like an original IBM (compare to http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 44259.html
which has "IBM" in the top left corner). So, if you decide to buy one, you would have to rely on anecdotical evidence that it indeed works as it should. Rather than risking incompatibilty issues, I would pick up a used original IBM battery at ebay (yes, maybe for $30 or so) and either live with its lower capacity or add a used extended life battery to get more charge for some extra weight. I've taken the second route myself; it works for me, but YMMV. The extended life battery may have an extra benefit of protecting the motherbord from flexing too much, as ragefury32 described in his very insightful post:

I was hoping it was a 'better knock off' than the horrid Chinese ones. I actually just bought an original one off eBay, claims 3 hours life with full brightness/wifi (I'd guess 2 hours real use), we'll have to see.
