I just found this hot deal and I thought I'd share. Especially in this forums since the older laptops do use DDR.

It's $49.99 with free shipping for CORSAIR 1GB PC2700 DDR SO-Dimm 200Pin - Model #VS1GSDS333. On the same page is a printable rebate for $35. That makes the after rebate price $14.99. The rebate is only valid for purchases up to today!

This is the type that I need for my X40. I think it's a nice deal since I was going to get 1GB to max it out. 1GB DDR is usually not that cheap since DDR2 is out and popular.

Too late. $35 rebate is over. It's now a $25 rebate. So the price after rebate is now $24.99. The rebate is valid for purchases until August 5 2008.
