X40/41 and Vista

Just wondering how well Vista will run on a X40 or X41?
Say with max ram. But i dont know how Vista will run with the slower CPU and just the 4200rpm 1/8" drive.

I have a X41 tablet, 2.5 GB ram, stock harddrive and it runs vista just fine. There will be no Aero since intel 915 chipset doesn't support Aero, but that's the only disadvantage (or advantage, rather ). Vista's tablet feature is worth it for me.

Different people have different opinions, and here's mine:

If I were keeping the X40 I currently own, I'd be putting W2K on it, or some lighter Linux.Seriously. X41 is fast enough for XP.

Vista...the only machine I've ever owned that ran Vista the way I think it should run was my T61p, with C2D, 4Gb RAM and 7200 HDD...but let's not go into how XP felt on that machine...

So I'd never even attempt installing Vista on a X4x unit. But I've read in one of your posts that you were OK with it on a T41, so you'd probably be OK with it on X41, less likely on X40.
