Need new x31 power adaptor

#1 Post by Spimoles » Wed Aug 27, 2008 9:05 pm

Anyone have any insight on where I can find a power adaptor for my x31 for under $40?

This little monster decided that mine would make perfect confetti

PM the creator of this thread...

He's probably got an adapter he would sell. Also ebay or craigslist might be a good place to look.

Any laptop supply delivering 16 - 18v @ 4 - 5amps will do the job. Main concern is to ensure that the DC connector, which plugs into the laptop, will be a comfortable fit in the laptop socket. I use a variety of (common) supplies to drive my X31, A22m, and, previously, Toshiba and Acer laptops.

I got a replacement from HK (or china?) on eBay for A$20 delivered. It still works.
Or you can get a multi-voltage multi-plug one for not much more.

Count your blessings! If it cost only $20, and it works, then stop thinkin' about it.
