A thin red line has appeared on the x32

It is barely visible, it is right near the middle of the screen and runs from the very top to the very bottom.

Since this is still under warranty it is going to be a Lenovo problem but looking for some heads up before I give them a call.

Wrong forum.

But if it's under warranty, by all means get it replaced at their expense.

+1 on call Lenovo. There is nothing you'd want to get involved in to try and fix this...unless you want to take the machine apart. At that point all you'd be able to try is to reseat the LCD signal cable at the systemboard and at the back of the LCD. There are hundreds of threads on this forum with details. Try a forum search.
