What can I expect from x31 batteries?

#1 Post by kevinc » Fri Sep 19, 2008 12:48 pm

I have a 1.4mhz X31. Standard and extended life batteries were manufactured in 2003 and 2004 . They have 110 and 159 cycles on them respectively. I'm getting about 3.5 hrs when freshly charged. Are they reaching the end of thier useful life?
Thanks

3.5 = time with both batteries , isn't it?

I would say that those are not yet near the end... I've one I got spare from a junk shop that does around 1h 7min (was a bit more before trying a bit of conditioning, like 10/15 minutes more) while the one that was with the thinkpad when purchased manages 1h 47min still with over 140 cycles.

I would start to be worried when you hit 2 hours while using both batteries

Thanks. There may be more life left in them than I thought... Next stop, batteryrefill.com...
