I wouldn't hold my breath on it. Same thing has been said about the 60G from Toshiba by in June 04. Normally, consumer will not see the drive in mass production and available for purchase a few months later.

1.8" hard drives - UK retailers that sell them??
I'm in the UK and can't find any retailers that sell 1.8" hard drives by themselves. They are always in USB2 packages which cost the world.
Found a couple US sites but ordering international can be a pain.

For my uses, I'd rather have a 40GB 7200 rpm drive than an 80GB 4200 rpm drive... *sigh*

I would trade my 60gb 4200 rpm drive that I am getting with my x41 for a 30gb 7200rpm drive any day, if they made one.
