x32 dead power

#1 Post by Armani » Fri Sep 26, 2008 7:49 pm

Hello,
I have a 3-year old x32. The power supply just stopped juicing the machine all of a sudden. I have 2 different power ords I confirmed are in working order by plugging into a different thinkpad. The laptop worked till the battery ran out of juice.
Does this seem to be a problem with the system board or is it something that has a shot of being resolved by opening up the thinkpad and looking for any loose parts?
Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

No, it doesn't seem loose. Maybe I should still open it up to take a look. I don't know what else to try at this point.
Thanks.
