X21 HDD

#1 Post by azazel » Sat Oct 04, 2008 5:12 pm

I have an X21 with the original 20GB 4200rpm drive. It's very loud and I'm wondering what my options are for a modern drive. Will this accept a typical 5400rpm drive? Are there any BIOS limitations on drive capacity? I've poked around on Google and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

For example, will this work?

Thanks,
Jason

Welcome to the forum!

The drive that you've linked to will work, no questions asked.

Hope this helps.

you can even go higher, for example 160gb also works fine.
