AC Adapter is buzzing

Hi,

I have a brand new IBM x40 (June 2004) and I mentioned its AC adapter is buzzing a little when you are very near it is hearable. You can hear it only when you're near the AC.

All is working fine. Is it normal ?

I just stuck my ear on my A31 adapter, it buzzes too.

So do both of mine. It's just a byproduct of the voltage stepdown process.
