On Screen Vertical Volume indicator Bars dont appear

Hi There,

I am running Windows XP SP2 on Thinkpad X41 Tablet PC for the last some time i have noticed that the vertical volume indicator bars that appear whenever you press keyboard volume control buttons dont appear anymore although the other on screen inidicators such as caps lock on/off does appear i even reloaded the Hotkey file also from the IBM site but still no change. Is it that i will have to delete the previous copy then load the new copy of hotkey or what? as during file installation it never prompted me to do that. if so then how? otherwise how can i solve this problem?
