First of all - i did a little search but apparently nobody has came across the same problem as me.
So here's the deal: Recently I bought a used X30 (sweet machine by the way, still gets 4 hrs on the battery while surfing the net and listening to music, I think I'm becoming an IBM-fanatic
I changed the screen back and now everything is back to normal (during this I found a loose screw near the ac connector socket, but it didn't fit anywhere inside the notebook).
Is it possible that the loose screw somehow short-circuited the power when I first opened the computer, and now, when I took it out it's like it was earlier?? Or is it the inverter's fault??
What about the screen?? The original one is a LG/Philips and the new one is IDTech. Also, if it makes any difference - my X30 is a 2672-4GG model and the donor is 2673-AG7. Do i have to change the inverter (if so - which one should I get)??
Thanks in advance for your replies.
