Updating BIOS with dead battery

#1 Post by ajgiampa » Sat Nov 29, 2008 9:05 pm

I'm trying to update the bios on my X22, but since I only use it with an AC adapter (the battery is dead), I am getting an error that it needs a charged battery to do the update.

Is there a way around this to update the BIOS without having a battery?

No there isn't, and it would be a dangerous thing to attempt.
