CF-IDE 1.8" adapter from DX, Hong Kong

Yes it looks fine.
Don't forget that you should use the fastest CF card you can get, in order to 'feel' the difference from the HD.
Depending on the OS (and the card) make sure the CF is seen by the computer as a 'fixed drive' or some OS's (Windows) won't install properly.

This fixed/removable bit is in the card CIS. Reportedly Sandisk and Kingston cards are set to be removable. Make sure you use NTFS and OS install will be ok.

There are some members who insist Addonics adapters are best but I think they are no different technically with adapters from other vendors.

So dose that mean tha if a buy a kingston card with that kind of adaptor it cant install windows? If this is true can someone then tell me what cards are good to use.
