Problem undocking from X3 Mediaslice

Everytime I try to undock from the X3, I get an error message saying that it's not possible because COM1 is busy. There's nothing in the unit except the 8x DVD.

I got this item from ebay and it works fine otherwise. Are there any drivers I need to install or anyone had the same problem?

It's probably something really simple that I'm not doing - but I've tried with and without the mains plugged in etc.. I have a feeling that it's power/ACPI related.

Anyone have any ideas?
