X40: first impressions

Well, i just got my X40 from the UPS people.. here are my impressions so far:

1. build quality

its good, but when i have the lcd closed, there is a little give between the lcd and the base.. its slightly annoying only because i had an A series before (A21p) to be exact it was much tighter... i guess IBM build quality has gone down a bit.

2. screen

LCD is beautiful, very crisp and sharp, no dead pixels so far.

3. keyboard

keyboard, again, not as good as my a21p, more clicky... i know thats just user preference, but my A21P was deadly silent. i'm more used to that right now, but i'm sure i can get used to this.

4. speed

HD access is way up, i'm planning on adding a stick of 512, right now there is only 256 built in.
other than that, quite fast

so far, i'm happy, i'll give it a 8/10
