Kingspec ssd users? (Pic Warning)

Old HDD in the Ultrabase/drive tray, new SSD in the HDD slot, cloning software in an USB CD drive. After cloning, if the SSD still doesn't boot, do a F11 recovery operation.

THE LAST FIVE WORDS DID THE TRICK. Get it to go to recovery console and rebuilt out of that, thanks again for jogging the noggin sjthinkpader

Just one question. Does anybody know how to send a Secure Erase ATA signal to these Kingspec SSDs, in order to reset the disk to factory settings and avoid time-related slowdowns? (see http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdo ... =3531&p=11 ).
Neither HDDERASE nor hparm seem to work, at least with my 1.8" PATA.
A program that could fill up all the clusters with zeroes (or ones) would probably also make it, although I am not sure...

Does anyone know if hdderase will erase a kingspec drive if the machine is booted from a cd with hdderase on it?
