Waterfield used to have sleeves that were made for those 12" ibook/powerbook laptops. They also fit the X31 perfectly (and probably ay other 12" 4:3 screen laptop).

Maybe what you need to do is google for "12" standard sleeve" or "ibook sleeve" or "powerbook sleeve"

X30 doesn't work, so you need a X31 or X32 housing.

x31 or x32 ... x30's have a different port layout, as I discovered myself ... :}

Cheaper to buy a scrap machine. If you add up the cost of screen, keyboard, BT and wireless card, HD caddy etc it cost far more than a machine with a duff system board. I got a X31 base plastic for about 10 UKP on ebay but a complete non booting machine can be had for 30-40 UKP. Search for "Thinkpad spares or repair".
As said - you do need a X31 base.

I have a spare X31 base ... but no other (spare) plastics.
