X40 black screen

Hi,
my X40 doesn't displays anything on LCD, lamp and vga output works ok, system works etc. How can I fix it?

What do you mean by the 'lamp' works?. Are you saying that the CCFL (backlight) lights, but you still do not get an image on the internal laptop LCD screen?

I would check the seating of the LCD signal cable both at the system board (try that first) and then at the back of the LCD itself (much more involved dis-assembly). If reseating the cable at both ends does nothing, try a new cable.

I've checked seatings and cable - they are ok. I didn't write about one important thing - when it happend computer hanged (no view+no sound).
Edit:
I've checked with scope signals at the end of the cabel - there is only 2-3 pins with 3V, others 0V, I don't see any clock - so it looks that something is wrong with mobo.
