Recently, either I forgot to turn it off before putting in bag (a thick one), or it turned on by itself in the bag. The tablet had spent more than 3 hours in the bag and was very hot when I discovered that. I turned it off immediately and put on charge.
I don't think it could cause such problem, but additionaly, while it was in the bag, I've passed a zone near an airport where some electronic devices sometimes glitch - obviously, there is a radar.
The next day tablet did not turn on. The only sign of life was green battery charging LED. I've tried changing main battery, reseating DIMM, disconnecting CMOS battery, disconnecting wireless interfaces and HDD, pressing on chipsets, pressing power button 10 times for 10 seconds with and without any power source and so on. Nothing worked.
Yesterday, 4 days after bag trip, I've tried to turn it on again - all usual LED came green, fan started spinning, but screen was blank. Further tries to turn it on again failed - only battery charging LED was green.
Today, immediately after I've found out that I have one more month of warranty and was going to call, the tablet suddenly turned on BY ITSELF while it was on the table charging, showed an error about incorrect time (CMOS was cleared as I disconnected battery for some time before) and started OS.
Everything is working now, except my understanding of what happened.
Could someone explain please? Do I have to send it to service center or wait till the problem appear again? What are the chances it will? Is there a special "service center threat sensor" built in laptop?
