KVM with Mini Dock

Have anyone been able to get this setup to work? If so please list KVM make, model and detailed setup information.

I have been unable to get it to work on the IOGear GCS632U. Tech support pretty much told me docks are not supported, and the only solution is to plug it directly into the laptop (which works).

None of the old threads have any solution...

edit: I am using an X31 with Mini Dock and USB keyboard/mouse.
