X31 Keyboard Problem

I have an IBM X31 with a keyboard problem. Sometimes the shift key will not work with certain keys. Rather than type the upper letter or symbol of a key when the shift key is depressed. It will only type the bottom letter or symbol regardless of how many times I depress the shift key. Usually a reboot helps, but it is happening more often. Keyboard problem? Should I have it replaced? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

That sound strange... have you tried updatiung you SW or maybe the bios? I know that has fixed problems I was having in the past.

I'd have the keyboard replaced.
