Thinkpad X24 2662 MPU restore disc

I would like to know where I can get a restore disc for this Thinkpad. The Lenovo site
states that it is no longer available. This unit came with Windows 2000 Pro.
The FRU for the disc is: 32P7193

It is the only disc listed that meets the 2662 MPU

Can I use another with Windoes XP?

If so How do I know which drivers I need to download from Lenovo? I am not familiar with
laptops and this one was owned by my late father-in-law. I would really like to get it running again.

Welcome to the forum.

T23, A31 R&R disk set should work. Look for drivers on Support/Download section on Lenovo.com. Put the ethernet driver on a USB stick and get that working first.

Thank you very much. Have it running but still looking for a couple of drivers.

Device manager says no driver installed for IBM ThinkPad Fast Infrared Port
And no driver for Multimedia Audio Controller

Any suggestions? I looked on Lenovo but never found them.
