X40 original HD Low level format needed

#1 Post by Lord_Sarevok » Thu Oct 08, 2009 7:07 am

Hi! I need to know how to do a low level format on an ibm x40 hd, is still the original one, dk13fa AKA HTC424040F9AT00, so one of the unsupported ones, at least by the official hitachi tool.
What software can I use (no windows here -.- only tux  , so better a bootable utility)
