X41 wifi card: intel 2200 bg Vs atheros abg AR5MB-44

i listened by other users that one of this card gives problems of overheating..but it is true?
which one ?
so whic is the best for the X41 to avoid any problem (overheating, high power consumption, speed etc etc) ?
intel WM3B2200BG FRU# 93P4168 (for Vs atheros AR5BMB-44 FRU# 39T0081 (for R50 R51 R52)

I think 2200bg is lower power but I have 2200, 2915, Atheros 5001X, 5004 and 5008.

i see that the power consumption of both card is very high during download...1% for minute of of continuous download with an extended battery genuine ibm! instead in normal use is 1% fr 5-8 minutes!
i discovery many wifi connection of my neighbor with the 2200 intel...i receive the connections of the block in front of mine...and the signal is always at max power; with the atheros..not always at max and many connections that i have with intel...i cannot receive with atheros!
i don't know for overheating...somebody knows about it?
