That one looks indeed like something designed for an AP, for it has 4 antennas plugs.

There are still AR5008 on eBay if you want 11n, BTW.

That's it, exact item that I bought, same seller too.

Anyway the seller is willing to take it back and issue a refund. Of course it's all the way back in Shenzhen lol... yeah I was from Canton.

I used to see some 3-antenna AR9220 for about USD25 on Taobao back then. But now they're gone. It seems the best bet would be the AR5008(X) or Ralink at this moment.
