I was seeking to add a Bluetooth module on an X41T. The built-in solution was forgone from the beginning, because I don't want to dismantle the PC. There are cheapies (USD2-3) with 100M range . At last, I settled with an USD5 one from "OMIZ". Installation was fairly effortless. Windows (XP SP3) installed the built-in driver and I added a mouse and handset after some mouse clicks.
The other USB dongles (USD2-3) I've seen looked (may not be the same inside) like the above linked. Some of them claim to support 100M range (sounds too good for the price, and I wonder if they will interfere with the other devices), and I've heard strange things about these bargain dongles (MAC address being 00-00-00-00-00-00), that being so, I guess they will work just well for simple devices. And I worried that they would not fit that USB port of the X41T because of the larger heads (although now I think, at least for the rectangular one, that they should fit just well).
I have that card from a dead T41p and transplanted into my A30p (or else for other machines I have 1803 error is no go). Now after using the Windows...
Can't get my Bluetooth speakers working with windows 7.... it needs Bluetooth peripheral device driver and windows can't find driver.... manufacturer...
