Loose panel hinges.

#1 Post by jiopsi » Sat Jan 02, 2010 12:46 pm

My X41 has somewhat loose panel hinges, it has play about 0,5cm measured from upper end. It's loose on the panel side of hinge and not in the body side, it's firm on there. I have tried to tighten the panel screws but wasn't sure how tight you can tighten those? Can you tighten too much and can they brake?

The most important screws are the two lower corner screws. Use a #1 Phillips head driver and tighten them. I use a B&D cordless driver set to the lowest torque.
