Poor wireless signal on X41's?

#1 Post by crushedumblr » Tue Jan 19, 2010 7:24 pm

I find my x41 Wi-fi is dropping out alot (tested other laptops which are fine), resulting in frequent short periods of inability to connect to any webpage, then all of a sudden it will come back

Is this a known issue with them and is there anything i can do about it? :?

thanks!

Ok I THINK it might actually be my own connection because its just been happening on my other laptop. Still not entirely sure though.

The wireless card is the same, IntelPro 2200bg

I have the same card in my X41T and it has been working great. I have full strength throughout my house and in the front/back yards as well. It has never let me down at client sites as well.

Do you have a PCMCIA wireless card you can try to isolate the wifi and see if it is indeed the problem?

It was working well for me on monday, tuesday it started cutting out. I am trying access connections to see if that will sovle the problem.

my pcima card lives on the outside of it's range, but is still connected fairly constantly to the access point.
